Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel

Location was fabulous, staff were amazing, the facilities just need an upgrade. It was clean and our trip was great!

The location can’t be beat! The hotel is right on the ocean, so walking down to the beach each morning was a breeze. There are several nice beachy restaurants and shops nearby, so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Pier is right nextdoor as well. Aside from the location being perfect, we also loved the on-site Blue Restaurant and Bar. It overlooks the ocean, which was lovely when having breakfast in the morning. The tiki bar was also a lot of fun. The biggest standout though was how incredibly kind, helpful, and hospitable the Tides Folly hotel staff were. Everyone we worked with from the front desk team, Roasted cafe and Blu restaurant/bar staff, bellmen, and cleaning crew were all phenomenal. They were the most accommodating and pleasant hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommend!

It is close to the beach and very clean.

The views, location being walkable to most everything we needed, availability of the hotel restaurant. Close to the pier. Staff was really friendly, super sweet. The coffee shop.

Hayden was the best helping us get our baggage to our room and getting us settled. Loved his attitude and hospitality!! Also the food and beverage staff were great and always helpful in every way. The ladies that cleaned the common areas did an excellent job. Very impressed with how clean everything was!
